He stressed that this decision is the culmination of decisions aimed at the development of this influential economic sector, notably the Royal Decree that all the gifts the state of the local heritage manufactures are, in addition to associations and festivals that have contributed to the heritage conservation, particularly the Janadriyah who personified vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques God protect him and his interest in the national heritage. He drew his to the national program for the development of handicraft industries (Baree) offers solutions to create jobs in the cities and villages and the desert and contributing to the provision of decent living opportunities for a large segment of citizens, as it is a source of economic development in small towns and rural areas.

He discussed the initiation of the center in coordination with partners in the program mechanism, namely the ministries of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Education , Finance, Economy and Planning, Culture and Information, Trade and Industry, Labour, Social Affairs, the General Authority for Investment, the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, Council of Chambers of Commerce and Industry Saudi Arabia, with the aim of advancement of the sector.

The meeting also discussed a program for the headquarters of the national program for the development of handicraft industries, processing and office headquarters technical means.

The Committee reviewed the meeting a number of activities and programs related to the development of handicraft artisans and support in a number of areas.
